winner, winner...chicken dinner

A big thank you to everyone who participated in the survey over this last week! It has been awesome to read your comments and to get a feel for what people would like see more of on the farm. It sounds like people would like more gardening workshops and definitely more pottery! We will be releasing a tentative schedule for the next six months next weekend, so please check back to see how we have taken your feedback and created an exciting line up.

Janelle will be receiving a basket full of Black Acre Farm goodies this week. 
On another exciting note, I have taken on a new project  that my close friend and I have been kicking around for a while. We are putting together a podcast that focuses on homesteading skills, self sufficiency, and managing it all in a modern world. The Root Cellar podcast will  be airing next week, starting February 5th. If you are unfamiliar with podcasts, they are similar to a radio program, but more focused on specific topics. I like to listen to them to and from work, or while out in the garden.  More information on how to find our podcast will be coming very soon!
